The mainstream classification of galvanized steel coils can be divided into four dimensions: surface condition, substrate type, performance and use, and zinc layer characteristics, covering the core categories in industrial procurement scenarios. The specific classifications are as follows:

1、 Classified by surface condition
Galvanized steel coil with flowers: The surface of the zinc layer forms uniform natural zinc flowers, with good toughness and high appearance recognition.
Non flower galvanized steel coil: The surface has no obvious zinc flower texture, high temperature resistance, high mechanical strength, and is suitable for scenes with high external flatness requirements.
Galvanized fingerprint resistant steel coil: The surface is treated with fingerprint resistant passivation, which is resistant to high temperature and corrosion, and is commonly used for contact components such as home appliance panels.
2、 Classified by substrate type
Cold rolled galvanized steel coil: Based on cold-rolled steel plate, it has high surface precision, corrosion resistance, high strength, and high toughness.
Hot rolled galvanized steel coil: Using hot-rolled steel plate as the substrate and hot-dip galvanizing process, it has high structural strength and is suitable for thick load-bearing components.
3、 Classified by performance purpose
High strength galvanized steel coil: With strong corrosion resistance and structural strength far higher than ordinary categories, it is suitable for heavy machinery and load-bearing steel structure scenarios.
Galvanized steel coils for stamping: produced using cold rolling technology, with smooth cutting edges and excellent deep drawing performance, suitable for stamping processing scenarios such as automotive parts.
Anti static galvanized steel coil: using advanced zinc aluminum magnesium technology, it is tough and pressure resistant, with anti-static characteristics, suitable for electronic workshops and explosion-proof scenarios.
Galvanized color coated steel coil: The surface is additionally treated with a color coating, which has high adhesion, anti-corrosion and decorative properties, and is commonly used for building roofs and walls.
Galvanized steel coil for mechanical manufacturing: structurally stable and cost-effective, it is a fundamental material in the field of general mechanical manufacturing.
4、 Classified by Zinc Layer Characteristics
High zinc layer galvanized steel coil: The zinc layer content can reach 275g/㎡ or more, and the anti-corrosion performance is greatly improved. It is the preferred material for pipeline engineering and outdoor high corrosion scenarios.
Galvanized patterned steel coil: With anti slip patterns on the surface, it has excellent anti slip performance and is commonly used in scenarios such as platform pedals and container baseboards that require anti slip.
